This is the most important advice you can receive in regard to any game you play. This will make the difference between winning, and losing, hard. Here are some tips on how to determine when to stop.

If you are playing Blackjack, you should recognize these tell tale signs that it is time to leave: there is a dealer bias, and you are consistently losing hands. These bias’ can last for hours, so it is time to quit while you’re ahead. Same with Craps, suffering from constant losses means its time to quit. Don’t wait for that miracle win!

When you approach a table, you should already have your limit. This is for both wins and losses. Determine the amount of bets you will allot to this one table, and stick to it. For wins, set a goal you wish to win. Once you have won that amount, you have to stick to it regardless of the streak, and walk away. Getting hot headed about a good winning record will cause you to make impulsive bets which quickly leads to losses. It is very common to quickly lose all that you have won, no matter how much time you have spent winning.
