The online slot gaming world is about to be set ablaze with the rekindled sequel from Nolimit City, this is our review of Fire in the Hole 2! Following the substantial success of its predecessor, this hotly anticipated sequel promises to deliver an immersive and exhilarating gaming experience for slot enthusiasts.
Fire In The Hole 2 Slot Review
Fire in the Hole 2 is an exciting online slot game that, much like its predecessor, takes players on a thrilling mining adventure. With an impressive 6 reels, 3-6 rows, and a whopping 46,656 paylines, this slot sets the stage for an immersive gaming experience. The game boasts an impressive Return to Player (RTP) of 96.07%, placing it within the high RTP category, sure to appeal to discerning players seeking a favourable return on their stake.
Gameplay and Mechanics
The gameplay in Fire in the Hole 2 follows a similar pattern to the original game, complete with a Collapsing Mine feature, xBomb Wild Multipliers, Wild Mining, and Buried Features. Moreover, the sequel introduces new features such as xSplit, Lucky Wagon Spins, xBet, and a feature buy option, giving players a chance to fast track their way to potential riches.
Collapsing Mine
The game begins with three active rows. Winning combinations or the explosion of an xBomb Wild trigger a collapse, thereby providing an additional row. With each collapse, more symbols are added, increasing the chances of winning. The game can expand to up to 6 rows in total, providing a whopping 46,656 ways to win.
xBomb Wild Multiplier
The xBomb Wild symbols substitute any symbol except scatters. These explosive wilds can detonate to remove all adjacent symbols (except for scatters), increasing the win multiplier value for the next collapse.
Wild Mining
Wild Mining is triggered when 3, 4, 5, or 6 of the same type of symbols land in a horizontal or vertical line. The triggering symbols are removed, and new wilds appear in the middle positions of the alignment, catalysing a new collapse.
Buried Features
The base game may contain wilds, xSplit, or scatter symbols hidden within dirt symbols. These buried features are only activated once the dirt block is removed or hit by an xSplit feature.
xSplit
The xSplit feature splits the symbols on its row, doubling them. Symbols splitting into 8 or more are shown with a multiplier instead. This feature adds an exciting new dimension to the gameplay, giving players even more chances to win.
Bonus Features
Fire in the Hole 2 offers a variety of bonus features, including Lucky Wagon Spins, xBet, and a feature buy option.
Lucky Wagon Spins
Landing 3, 4, or 5 scatter symbols triggers the Lucky Wagon Spins feature with 2, 3, or 4 active rows, respectively. The round starts with 3 spins and resets to 3 each time a Coin lands on the reels.
xBet
The xBet feature guarantees at least one scatter symbol on the last inactive row on each spin. Additionally, all dirt positions are removed from the base game, and any buried features trigger as soon as they are on active reels.
Nolimit Bonus
Under the Nolimit Bonus section, players can buy 3, 4, or 5 scatter-triggered Lucky Wagon Spins or a guaranteed collector bonus. This feature adds an extra layer of excitement, allowing players to jump straight into the action.
Visuals and Graphics
Fire in the Hole 2 maintains the original game’s aesthetic, taking players on a thrilling mining adventure. The slot has been visually upgraded with sharper symbols and new animations, enhancing the overall gaming experience. The soundscape complements the visual elements perfectly, creating an immersive and engaging gaming atmosphere.
